Our laboratory studies Hedgehog signal transduction, which plays a central role in animal development and human disease. The main focus of the lab is the identification and characterization of new pathway components. Our approach is to use an in vivo RNAi suppressor/enhancer screen to discover candidate genes, which are then validated and studied to determine how they function within the pathway.
