Regan Thomson Selected as 2010 Amgen Young Investigator
Regan Thomson, assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University, has been selected as one of the 2010 Amgen Young Investigators. This award is given annually to young investigators whose scientific contributions and commitment to academic excellence impact research in the pharmaceutical and biomedical research industry. In October of this year, Regan will attend the Chemistry Research & Development, and Small Molecules Process & Product Development Young Investigators Symposium held on site at Amgen’s headquarters in Thousand Oak California. There he will present a seminar on his research, along with this years other winners; Vy Dong (University of Toronto), Tristan Lambert (Columbia University) and Tobias Ritter (Harvard University).
