Quantitative Bioelemental Imaging Core
at Northwestern University

Welcome

The Quantitative Bioelemental Imaging Core (QBIC) provides a space for development of novel imaging techniques and probe. It will focus on a multimodal approach to molecular imaging in basic and clinical biological systems.  The facility will provide researchers with the unprecedented ability to image molecules and follow chemical reactions in something as large as a whole animal down or as small as a single cell.

QBIC is a Chemistry of Life Processes Institute Center with the W. M. Keck Foundation, Northwestern University Vice President for Research, Chicago Biomedical Consortium, RIce Foundation, Robert H Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center and National Institutes of Health support. It is a collaborative effort between CLP's Center for Advanced Molecular Imaging, Northwestern University Atomic- and Nansocale Experimental Center and the Biological Imaging Facility.
