Core Facilities: Instruments & Services

A primary component of the Institute’s mission is to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration built upon state-of-the-art shared instrumentation and specialized expertise in the areas biological imaging, molecular imaging, proteomics, small molecule discovery and computation and modeling. The Institute's shared instrumentation and service facilities include the following.

Hela Cells- QBIC.JPG Biological Imaging Facility
Provides cutting-edge photonic and electron instruments, allowing researchers to capture high-quality images and videos of their specimens.
Nucleosome model.jpg Center for Advanced Molecular Imaging
Imaging resources span length scales of molecules to whole animals. Instruments include MRI, IVIS Spectrum, SPECT, and PET. A 3D tiled-panel-display supports image analysis and processing.
ChemCore-Molecule-Image.jpg ChemCore
Provides medicinal and synthetic chemistry, molecular modeling and compound purification services.
Mouse TBC Thumbprint.jpg Developmental Therapeutics Core
Provides an operational laboratory that supports translational projects and exploratory drug development work.
HTA.png High Throughput Analysis Laboratory
Provides the instrumentation and expertise for the development and execution of high throughput biological analysis and screening.
